About Us
The word disability in itself carries a negative connotation. When the word is attached with
any person, it inflicts a sense of pain and vulnerability in that individual and puts him/her
aside. With the result, we often find that people with disabilities are deprived, disadvantaged,
neglected, humiliated, powerless and voiceless. They become victims of society, and system,
because of limited bargaining capacity. They face enormous challenges, negative attitudes,
discrimination, prejudice and hostile practices. Because of their impairment, they become
less important people in the society. We motivate the parents to change their attitude
towards disabled children. We encourage and motivate them for the education and vocational
training. We help them with the linkages with government and nongovernmental organizations
for availing pensions, loans from banks, scholarship etc.
The Year 2013 we have started a new ministry for helping female section of the society
especially the divorced women and it was our joint attempt with NGO. In this our new
attempt we could achieve the success at certain extent. Our centre is rendering different
training for the disabled youth such as tailoring, beauty parlor, art and craft and other
vocational courses. As a whole our centre is open for all, hence there are other students
also who come to us for receiving training in vocational courses, this widened horizon of the
society has benefited many youth of the locality and given them a good platform to come up
in their life..
